Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Section 464(1), and 466 of the Local Government Act (LGA) that the Council of the District of Kent will be holding a Public Hearing on March 9, 2026, at 6:00 PM to consider the proposed Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 1508.29, 2025.

Mayor and Council have declared February 16 – February 22 as "Heritage Week" in the District of Kent. The theme for this year is "Stir the Pot" a celebration of the importance of food in our culture, memory, family, and community.

Pursuant to the Community Charter, the District of Kent gives notification that the assessment rolls listing the names and addresses for all properties subject to 2026 parcel taxes for the following service areas will be certified on February 9, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Hall, 7170 Cheam Avenue, Agassiz, BC:

Notice: The electric vehicle charging station located at the Aberdeen building parking lot (7167 Pioneer Ave) is temporarily out of service due to vandalism. The District is aware and is working to get the chargers up and running again as soon as possible.
