Now More Ways to Play!

While enjoying our parks and green spaces, why not try out a variety of our free and accessible pieces of play equipment. Choose from our mobile and stationary play boxes, disc golf, outdoor fitness equipment or even head out on a geocaching adventure!

Disc golf and the mobile play boxes are signed out on a first come, first served basis from the Community Recreation and Cultural Centre (CRCC) for up to 24 hours at a time. Please contact the CRCC for availability.

Disk golf is like traditional golf, except instead of using clubs to drive golf balls into holes, you use a disc (like a frisbee) and aim for a basket.

Disk golf equipment is available to use in Centennial Park. See the User Guide and Map for specified locations.

What are you waiting for...get active! Outdoor activity is a fun and refreshing way to deal with stress, increase fitness levels and interact with others all while enjoying the natural surroundings. The Centennial Park Fitness Circuit is open to all ages, abilities and exercise levels.

Parks, Recreation and Culture recognize the importance of dogs to residents by providing two off-leash dog areas. These off-leash areas are a safe way to exercise and socialize your dog while meeting with other dog owners.

Dogs are permitted off-leash in specific areas provided dogs remain under their owner's control and that owners carry a leash with them at all times. With the exception of designated off-leash areas and private property, all dogs must be on a leash in the District of Kent.

Each off-leash dog park includes signage, a pet stand with biodegradable waste bags, and a waste container.

The off-leash areas are located at:

  • Pixley Lane
  • Morrow Road
