After years of planning, on September 25, 2026, Mayor Pranger and Council were thrilled to welcome the public into the new aquatic facility.

The District of Kent has received a referral from the Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch regarding an application by The Broken Whisk Restaurant for a permanent change to its existing Food Primary Liquor Licence No. 308577 at 7205 Pioneer Avenue, Agassiz.
Means of Production will be filming in the District of Kent on September 23, 2026. Filming will be located on Rockwell Drive between Breakwater Beach and 7170 Rockwell Drive, from 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM. There will be disruptions to traffic during this time with wait times of up to 5 minutes.
