Rural Road Paving Projects 2025
Council approved the addition of repair works along Martin Road, McDonald Road, and Tranmer Road. This additional work is possible due to favourable ground conditions discovered during the Cameron Road rural road paving allowing for the District to expand the scope of the project.
It was noted that the repair work on Tuyttens Road is being delayed as the District is seeking grant funding to replace the temporary culvert.
Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Awareness
Council has approved the distribution of AED decals to local businesses and organizations with accessible AED’s onsite. These decals are intended to be displayed in the windows or entrances of local businesses, facilities, and organizations so passersby will find it clear that an AED is accessible on the premises during business hours. More details will be provided when available, along with instructions on how to apply for an AED decal.
