Notice of Amendment Bylaw No. 1770, 2026
Notice is hereby given that the District of Kent Council will consider first, second and third readings of
Zoning Bylaw Amendment Bylaw No. 1770, 2026, at the Regular Council meeting scheduled for Monday,
October 26, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Municipal Hall, 7170 Cheam Avenue, Agassiz, BC.
Subject Property: 5402 Lougheed Highway
If adopted, Bylaw 1770, would permit a mixed-animal veterinary clinic on a portion of the 8.2 ha (20.2 acre)
property. The clinic would operate within a proposed farm building that would also accommodate agricultural
uses and dog-boarding.
In accordance with the Local Government Act, a public hearing will not be held for this bylaw.
