Public Notice - Zoning Bylaw Amendment 1752

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the District of Kent Council will consider first, second, and third reading for District of Kent Zoning Bylaw 1219, Amendment Bylaw No.1752, 2025.


Under Section 464(3)(b) and (c) of the Local Government Act, local governments are prohibited from holding Public Hearings for a proposed zoning bylaw if the bylaw is consistent with the Official Community Plan and if the amendment is for the sole purpose of a development that is, in whole or part, a residential development.


Purpose: If adopted, Bylaw 1752 would rezone 3137 Hot Springs Road from Rural Residential 2 (RR2) to Rural Residential 3 (RR3) to facilitate the subdivision of the property into two 0.5-acre lots.
