Notice of Temporary Use Permit Extension TUP26-03: 7401 and 7500 Pioneer Avenue
At its Regular meeting on August 17, 2026, Council of the District of Kent will consider the extension of a Temporary Use Permit (TUP) for 7401 and 7500 Pioneer Avenue, Agassiz, BC as authorized under Section 493 of the Local Government Act.
Land Use Proposal: A TUP application was received to allow the subject lands to continue to be used for unenclosed storage as a principal use and to allow the use to exceed the 25% maximum site coverage for unenclosed storage. The unenclosed storage use will be used for crane storage with the option to lease the land for use as unenclosed storage.
This proposal is intended to renew the existing TUP for an additional three (3) years, allowing Bigfoot Crane to continue their operations on the site..
