Proclamation: World Suicide Prevention Day 2024

Mayor Pranger proclaimed September 10, 2024, as “World Suicide Prevention Day” in the District of Kent. Suicide is a multi-dimensional public health problem leading to the death of approximately 4500 Canadians every year. There will be a free online event on September 10, 2024 hosted by the Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention.
