Proclamation: National Drowning Prevention Week 2023

July 18, 2023 - Mayor and Council have officially declared July 16th to 22nd, 2023, as National Drowning Prevention Week in the District of Kent.

"Knowing July sees the peak of water-related incidents each year, the Lifesaving Society chooses the 3rd week of July as National Drowning Prevention Week (NDPW).
