Proclamation: Heritage Week 2026

Mayor and Council have declared February 16 – February 22 as "Heritage Week" in the District of Kent. The theme for this year is "Stir the Pot" a celebration of the importance of food in our culture, memory, family, and community.

We encourage residents to visit the Agassiz-Harrison Museum and Visitor Centre (7011 Pioneer Ave) to explore our local history. To find the hours of operation be sure to visit the Museum website at: https://agassizharrisonmuseum.org/
