Response to CTV’s Story About New Allegations of Cover Up by the District of Kent

Agassiz, British Columbia – On October 25, 2022, CTV Vancouver aired and published a story with new allegations of a cover up regarding the tragic incident involving Ms. Shirley Nate in 2015.

The District of Kent takes these allegations seriously and will work and cooperate with the RCMP. The CTV story claims that there is new evidence on the electrocution of Shirley Nate, and we strongly recommend that anyone with new evidence provide that information to the RCMP.
