Evergreen Park Refresh

Agassiz, British Columbia – We are excited to announce that Evergreen Park, at 1700 Evergreen Drive, has been refreshed with new equipment and surfaced with rubber lining.

Earlier this year, Council approved Canadian Rec Solutions design for Evergreen Park, and a pour in place rubber surfacing. Users will notice improved accessibility and safety with the new surface. With the newly updated equipment, Evergreen Park will continue to provide valuable play space in Agassiz.

Evergreen Park first opened in May of 1991, and this is its third refresh. Installation took place this summer, and we thank the public for their patience while this work was completed. We are happy to see kids and families enjoying the new equipment, with new ways to play and have fun!

An official ribbon cutting ceremony will take place October 21, 2026, at 11:00 am at the park (1700 Evergreen Drive). We hope to see you and your families come out to enjoy these upgrades, and celebrate this achievement with us
