Notice of Municipal Tax Exemptions - Bylaw 1756, 2025

NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL TAX EXEMPTION

In accordance with Section 227 of the Community Charter, the District of Kent gives notice of its intention to adopt the bylaw cited as "2026 Municipally Held Land Permissive Tax Exemption Bylaw No. 1756, 2025" at the Regular Council meeting scheduled on Monday, October 27, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Municipal Hall, 7170 Cheam Avenue, Agassiz, BC.

 

This bylaw will establish a tax exemption from land and improvements for the year 2026 for the property listed below. An estimate of the amount of taxes that would be imposed on the property if it was not exempt for the year in which the proposed bylaw is to take effect and the following two years are described as follows:

This bylaw may be inspected between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, excluding holidays, in the Municipal Office located at 7170 Cheam Avenue, Agassiz, B. C.
