COVID-19: Municipal Hall Safety Guidelines

Agassiz, British Columbia – January 20, 2021 The District of Kent would like to remind residents that due to the extended Public Health Order requirements, in person services at Municipal Hall continue to be limited.

In person services include financial transactions (all forms of payment and purchases of dog tag, bus passes, etc.). Residents requiring services from other departments such as engineering or planning services are requested to call ahead and make an appointment. Alternatively, many services are also available over the telephone.

Safety guidelines in effect include capacity limits in our reception area to allow for physical distancing. If possible, we ask that only one member per household enters Municipal Hall to conduct business.

The following no contact payment options remain available:

  1. Online or telephone banking – please contact your financial institution to set it up.
  2. In person – there is a secure drop box located at the front door of the Municipal Office where you can drop off your cheque.
  3. By mail.
  4. In person at your financial institution.

Follow our social media and website for guidelines. For more information please see www.kentbc.ca or contact Municipal Hall at 604-796-2235 or info@kentbc.ca.
