Highway Closure and Dedication Removal Bylaw

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 40 and Section 94 of the Community Charter, that the Council of the District of Kent provide Notice of 'Highway Closure and Dedication Removal Bylaw, No. 1760, 2026', to close a portion of dedicated highway and remove its highway dedication.

Council has given three readings to 'Highway Closure and Dedication Removal Bylaw No. 1760, 2026'. The proposed bylaw relates to a portion of municipal road allowance located on Key Road, as shown on the map provided.

The adoption of the bylaw will be considered at the Regular Meeting of Council, Monday, March 23, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. Council Chambers, District of Kent Municipal Hall, 7170 Cheam Avenue, Agassiz, BC.

Persons who believe their interests are affected by the proposed bylaw may make representations to Council by submitting written comments prior to 12:30 p.m. March 23, 2026.

A copy of the proposed bylaw and reference plan may be inspected at the District of Kent Municipal Hall during regular business hours, Monday through Friday.
