Half Mast for National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women 2023

The flags at District of Kent facilities will be at half-mast on December 6, 2023, in honour of the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.

This day is to honour the 14 young women who were murdered at Polytechnique Montréal on December 6, 1989.

The National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women is also about remembering those who have experienced gender-based violence and those who we have lost to it.
