Half Mast for Former British Columbia Premier John Horgan

The flags at District of Kent facilities will be lowered to half-mast today in honour of the late former British Columbia Premier, John Horgan who passed November 12, 2024, at the age of 65.

Mr. Horgan served as British Columbia's 36^th Premier from July 2017 to November 2022 and as Ambassador of Canada to Germany since December 2023. He was the Member of the Legislative Assembly for the constituency of Langford-Juan de Fuca and its predecessors from 2005 to 2023.

Our flags will remain at half-mast until sunset on the day of his funeral or memorial service.
