FILMING NOTICE - JUNE 13, 2022

The District of Kent is pleased to welcome film crews from Sky Road Productions. The film crew will be onsite from June 12–14, 2022, along the 7000 block of Pioneer Ave., Pioneer Park and the Aberdeen.

Filming Schedule:

• June 12: Film crew prep day - 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• June 13: Active filming - 9:30 AM to 9:00 PM
• June 14: Wrap and teardown - 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

The filming will be outside and will involve driving scenes with no loud noises, stunts or special effects. The production will be filming in several locations down Pioneer Avenue, with traffic being held for a maximum of 3-minute intervals. This will occur only while filming scenes along Pioneer Avenue and traffic regulations will return to normal once these scenes are complete.

In addition, the following parking lots will be occupied:

• Museum Parking Lot
• Shoppers Drug Mart/Lordco Parking Lot
• Some parking spaces along Pioneer Avenue and up to 8 spaces in the Aberdeen Parking Lot
• Crew parking is at Centennial Park. Spaces will be reserved for Community Recreation and Cultural Centre patrons.

Pedestrian and vehicle traffic will still have access to downtown; however, there may be intermittent stops during brief (3 min) filming shoots.

Buses will be rerouted to Cheam Avenue for the day.
