This ceremony will recognize a number of RCMP Officers and individuals who have provided excellent service to the communities of the Upper Fraser Valley during the year of 2025.

Dogs in the District

Mayor and Council received the 4th Quarter Cleanup Summary from the Friends of the Dike. Of note, the volunteers removed 29 pieces of garbage from the parking lot areas, as well as 18 dog feces and observed three dogs off leash. The District would like to remind users of the dikes that dogs must be on leash, to properly dispose of dog excrement and to utilize the many garbage cans. Keeping our public spaces clean and dogs on leash allows everyone to enjoy the area.

District of Kent Dike Regulation Signage

There are two dog parks in the District where dogs can safely be off leash. The small dog park is at 7666 Morrow Road, and the large dog park is along Pixley Lane.
