Proclamation: World Suicide Prevention Day

September 1, 2022 - Mayor Pranger has declared September 10, 2022 as “World Suicide Prevention Day” for the District of Kent.

The Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention is hosting a free, virtual event that day to “destigmatize conversations about suicide by creating a space where people can connect and share with others who have experienced various forms suicidality.”
