Heavy rain is in the forecast for the Fraser Valley today and Tuesday morning. We are expecting to get between 50-100mm of rain, with the heaviest downpours likely to happen in the late evening and overnight. We are continuing to monitor the situation and ask that you be mindful of pooling water and increased water flow in streams, rivers, and culverts. We would also appreciate it if residents could help keep the storm drains clear in their neighbourhoods to prevent localized flooding.
The rain is expected to continue into tomorrow, but with less intensity. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
