Half Mast for National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women 2024

In honour of the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women the flags at District of Kent facilities will be at half-mast on December 6, 2024.

This day is to honour the 14 young women who were targeted and murdered due to their gender at Polytechnique Montréal on December 6, 1989.

The National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women is also about remembering those who have experienced gender-based violence and those who we have lost to it.
