The Committee’s invaluable contributions have been instrumental in shaping a vision for a more inclusive and welcoming community for the future.
In addition to the Accessibility Plan, an initial feedback survey has been developed to allow community members to share invaluable insights, challenges and aspirations through their lived experience to further shape accessibility in our community.
The District of Kent is committed to the ongoing implementation and evaluation of the Accessibility Plan with continued collaboration with the Accessibility Committee, community members and stakeholders including our First Nation’s neighbours to ensure its efficacy and relevance.
