7167 Pioneer Ave - Property Lease

The District of Kent proposes to lease by public tender, the ground floor of 7167 Pioneer Avenue, Agassiz, BC (commonly known as the Aberdeen Centre).

• Approximately 700 square feet.
• The minimum lease for the subject property shall be $1,000 per month plus GST.
• The lot is presently zoned Park, Recreation and Open Space (P2) and allows limited commercial use on the ground floor. Residential use is not permitted and a rezoning or temporary use permit for this use will not be considered.
• The previous tenant was the main office of the Agassiz-Harrison Observer newspaper.
• The building and surrounding location has been featured in various movie scenes.
• Bids for lease of this property will be accepted until 12:00 p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2024.
• A site visit for interested proponents is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 7, 2024.

The highest or any bids will not necessarily be accepted, and bids will be evaluated on both the price offered and the proposed use. The District of Kent will not be responsible for any costs incurred by a bidder in the preparation of their submission.
