Planning on planting native BC trees, shrubs, or vegetation on private property within the District of Kent?
The District of Kent may provide financial support through the Seeding Stewardship Fund to private property owners for natural landscaping and planting initiatives that help offset climate change. To qualify for the fund the proposed project must be on private property within the District of Kent, focus on native BC plant species (trees, shrubs, or other vegetation), enhance climate resilience and/or enhance local biodiversity.
Applications for the 2025 Seeding Stewardship Fund must be submitted before August 1, 2025.
