Kent Harrison Search and Rescue is a registered non-profit organization. It's primary function is that of a community resource to assist the RCMP, the BC Ambulance Service, local Fire Departments and the BC Coroners Service in a variety of search and rescue tasks.
To deliver a professional-quality search and rescue service to the community by developing and maintaining resources to safely, efficiently and effectively resolve incidents outlined in the risk assessment of the area.
Kent Harrison Search and Rescue is a volunteer-run organization with an average of 25 trained members.
The team is highly trained in a multitude of disciplines, including Ground Search and Rescue, Inland Water Rescue, Swift Water Rescue and Rope Rescue.
