Official Announcement
The federal government has released an official announcement regarding investment in infrastructure projects across the province, including the District of Kent.
Regional Aquatic Centre Location

The District of Kent has generously donated the land (valued at approximately 2 million) next to the Community Recreation & Cultural Centre (CRCC).

This pool location is central to surrounding communities and can be incorporated into existing recreation services at the CRCC (6660 Pioneer Avenue, Agassiz, BC).

Regional Aquatic Centre Fundraising Committee

The Fundraising Committee is developing and implementing fundraising strategies and ideas for the Regional Aquatic Centre with Council's approval. Councillor Susan Spaeti has been appointed as Chair of the committee. 

If you are interested in volunteering for any upcoming fundraising events, please email LRAC@kentbc.ca.

The District of Kent is pleased to announce that the future centre will be named the "Lets'emot Regional Aquatic Centre".

The District of Kent Council unanimously approved issuing a Letter of Intent to Chandos Construction LP for the construction of the Lets’emot Regional Recreation & Aquatic Centre (LRRAC).
