With funding through the Provincial Community Economic Recovery Infrastructure Program grant, the District has installed a new EV Charging Station at the Aberdeen Building parking lot.

Where to charge your electric vehicle

The District of Kent currently operates a Level 2 charging station for public use. The station has two charging ports and can charge two vehicles at the same time. There is a charge $4 per hour with no time limit restrictions.

Charging Station Frequently Asked Questions

How do I use the Flo station at Aberdeen?

Option 1: Tap to charge. With the ChargeHub app installed, you can start a charging session by holding your phone over the reader symbol on the station. Before charging, make sure you have the app and you're signed into your account. For device compatibility details, visit the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Android).
Option 2: Use your ChargeHub card. Tap your activated ChargeHub card on the card reader symbol on the station. To activate your card, visit Chargehub.com
Option 3: Start charging from the app. In the app select the station and click the "Start Charge" button.

How do I obtain or activate a ChargeHub Card?

You can sign up for a free ChargeHub card online or via the ChargeHub mobile app.

How much will I pay to charge my vehicle?

All District-owned public EV chargers are $4 per hour with no time limit restrictions.

Station not working?

For the Aberdeen station contact Flo at 1-888-356-8911. If they cannot solve the problem, contact the District of Kent at 604-796-2235.
